VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Two men pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges surrounding an attempted kidnapping and sexual assault in Encinitas last week.
Deputies said Christopher White and Jeremiah Owens targeted a 15-year-old girl while she was waxing her surfboard in the driveway of her home.
One man attacked the girl and tried to drag her to a waiting pickup truck, said deputies.

She fought off the man and escaped.
A judge ordered White and Owens to be held without bail.
