TORONTO (KGTV) – Nine people were shot outside a restaurant in Toronto's Greektown neighborhood around 10 p.m. Sunday evening, police said. One of the victims was a young girl.
According to a tweet from Canadian police, the gunman behind the shooting died the same evening.
"I heard at least 20 shots in intervals," an eyewitness told CNN. "Clipping, spent, reloading, clipping, spent reloading, that's what I heard."
Victims were taken to various trauma centers in the area.
Police have not yet released information on a possible motive.
