Nearly 3,500 people are without power in North County San Diego Saturday, according to San Diego Gas & Electric.
Areas affected include South Escondido, Lake Hodges, Del Dios area and East Escondido.
SDG&E says it is assessing the outage to determine the cause and estimates power will be restored around 5 p.m.
