Trump lost the state by 10 points in 2020. He'd suggested this week that he would come to Virginia.
McAuliffe has tried to link Youngkin to Trump. President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama have campaigned for McAuliffe, also trying to make the case that Youngkin loyal to Trump.
