Lawyers for former national security adviser Michael Flynn issued a joint status report along with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team announcing the two sides are ready for the sentencing phase on Flynn's charges that he lied to the FBI.
The two sides proposed Nov. 28 as a date to schedule the hearing.
In December 2017, Flynn pleaded guilty to one count of lying to the FBI about communications he had with the Russian government during the 2016 election cycle.
The guilty plea came directly out of Mueller's probe into the 2016 election.
Flynn served as President Donald Trump's national security adviser for just three weeks when revelations were reported that he had lied to the Trump administration, and specifically Vice President Mike Pence about his contact with the Russians.
