When you go to the grocery store, you always check the expiration date before you buy an item. Now a food bank in Wales is reminding people to do that before donating to them. And it's all because of an item they received.
Someone dropped off a can of soup at the Cardiff foodbank that officials believe is at least 46 years old. Officials say it has a price sticker with Britain's currency before the country switched to a decimal system in 1971.
The can of Heinz Kidney Soup was donated with several other decades-old items, including a can of sweet corn from the 80s.
