SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A neighborhood is on high alert after a mountain lion was spotted roaming near homes.
An image was captured on a backyard motion sensing security camera last week showing a creature that many believe is a mountain lion.
One man told 10News he's always had his suspicions but for him, the picture proves it.
The Department of Fish and Wildlife told 10News the area is a prime habitat for the large cats and it's likely the animal spotted is, in fact, a mountain lion.
