Ebony Wilkerson, the pregnant mother who drove a van with her three children into the ocean off Daytona Beach, Florida in March, will plead insanity.
She will be cleared of attempted murder charges, WJXT reports.
The state attorney's physician reportedly agreed with the defense's doctors that Wilkerson, 33, had a "psychotic event."
The three children who were rescued from the van as it filled with seawater are in the custody of the state. A child born after the incident is with his father, The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports.
