Exposure to military burn pits could quietly be threatening your health.

There is talk it could be the next Agent Orange.

Military members can only carry so much, so they often dig holes and burn things like chemicals, munitions, human waste and food.

Doctors do not know about the full effects of exposure. They say some vets have had issues that could be connected to burn pit exposure.

Long-term effects could be silently lurking in anyone who served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Djibouti, Africa, Operations Desert Shield or Desert Storm or the Southeast Asia theater of operations after August, 1990.

The VA started a registry for service members and vets in hopes of getting ahead of it. There you can  document concerns and possibly get free health evaluations.
