SANTEE -- Santa Claus will be making an appearance at Santee Lakes this week, and he'll be joined by his Storybook Island pals Ariel and Prince Eric, Anna and Elsa and many other characters.
This is the 16th annual Santa at the Lakes event at the Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve at 9310 Fanita Parkway. The Dec. 11 event (from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) includes the following activities:
- Photos with Santa
- Pony rides
- Petting zoo
- Face painting
- Carnival rides
- Holiday crafts
- Hayrides
We also have it on good authority that the famous 'Snow Hill' will be back for some sledding fun.
Admission is $10 per carload. Activity and ride tickets are $1 per ticket (they range from 1-4 tickets). Carnival wristbands will be available for $20 and character meet and greet wristbands will be $5.
