A 70-year-old Lakeside man who has Alzheimer's disease and cannot walk very well was missing from his care facility Sunday morning, but was eventually found safe in El Cajon.
Conway Bryan Jr. left the facility on foot at 9 a.m., according to a statement by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The Sheriff's Search and Rescue Unit and deputies from the Lakeside Sheriff's Substation searched for the "missing person at risk" for more than six hours after he disappeared.
