A 42-year-old man was stabbed Thursday night in Bankers Hill, not far from Balboa Park.
Police say the victim go into a verbal argument with a transgender woman when she pulled out a knife and cut the victim about his left ear. The victim also had a cut on his ring finger, which was broken during the attack.
The victim described the attacker as a 5'5" Hispanic female with black hair. He said she was wearing an orange t-shirt under a yellow t-shirt and green pants.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
San Diego Police Central Division Detectives are investigating the incident.
