Man stabbed by son-in-law in South Bay

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A family dispute in the Egger Highlands neighborhood of south San Diego ended with one man stabbed and his son-in-law in jail.
Police were called to the 1800 block of Dahlia Avenue shortly after 4:30 p.m. Saturday, where the suspect had been in an argument with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, according to Officer Ben Newton.

The suspect pulled out a knife and swung it at his brother-in-law, slightly injuring him on the chest. The suspect then attacked his father-in-law, stabbing him twice in the chest, Newton said.
The father-in-law, described as a white man in his 50s, drove himself to a hospital. He was later transferred to the UCSD Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The brother-in-law, described as a white man in his 30s, was not hospitalized, Newton said.
The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s. His name was not released by police.
