SAN DIEGO – A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in Valencia Park early Friday morning.
The shooting occurred before 4:04 a.m. in the area of South Euclid Avenue and La Paz Drive. The victim was struck at least twice, once in the chest and once in the leg, San Diego police said. He was taken by ambulance to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest in critical condition.
Police found several shell casings in the area of Euclid Avenue and Trinidad Way.
No arrests had been made and there was no suspect description.
The circumstances of the shooting were not confirmed.
