SAN DIEGO -- Police were investigating a shooting in Chollas View that left a 31-year-old man wounded Friday.
It was reported at 8:32 p.m. Friday in front of a residence in the 4900 block of Hilltop Drive, according to Sgt. Michael Tansey of the San Diego Police Department.
The victim was sitting with a friend in the front yard when an unknown vehicle pulled up and stopped in front of the house, Tansey said.
An occupant inside the vehicle fired one shot at the two males and struck the victim in the legs, Tansey said.
The victim was driven to Paradise Valley Hospital by a friend.
The bullet went through both of the victim's legs, Tansey said, but his injuries are considered not life threatening.
