SAN DIEGO - A shooting in the Crown Point neighborhood of Pacific Beach left a man wounded Monday afternoon.
The gunfire in an area near the 3800 block of Shasta Street was reported shortly after 12:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.
The unidentified victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder, was taken by medics to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment. The victim's condition was not immediately known.
Witnesses say they spotted up to three black males drive away from the shooting area in a gray Dodge Charger. Police have not yet confirmed witness accounts.
Police told 10News it is possible the victim may have known the assailants.
No other injuries were reported.
