SAN DIEGO — A man was fatally shot on the side of westbound SR-94 late Saturday night and the gunman is not yet in custody.

Homicide detectives investigated the shooting that occurred on the 94 freeway near Euclid Avenue and the I-805 interchange around 11:30 p.m.
A Hispanic male was found laying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his torso, San Diego police said.
Police said the driver of a white Camry pulled over onto the shoulder of freeway and an argument ensued between that driver and men who were walking on the side of the freeway.
One man was rushed by ambulance to the hospital.
The 94 freeway on-ramp from 4800 A St. will be closed for the duration of the investigation.
