(KGTV) — A man was caught sneaking into Disneyland's California Adventure Park Sunday night as the park remains closed.

Just before 10:30 p.m., Anaheim Police said 18-year-old Jeremiah Smith was seen jumping over a perimeter fence near the park by Disneyland security.

Police used a helicopter to help quickly locate Smith, who was in an area of California Adventure that's currently under construction. It's not clear what Smith's motivation was to enter the park.

APD says the rest of the park was searched and no other suspects were located.

Smith was issued a citation for trespassing and released, police said.
