(KGTV) - One person is behind bars after a cache of fireworks was found in a vehicle on the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles.
The driver was arrested in the City Terrace area of Los Angeles after police discovered more than 1,000 pounds of illegal fireworks inside their vehicle, ABC7 reported.
The vehicle was found on the shoulder of the westbound 10 Freeway Tuesday morning.
California Highway Patrol and L.A. County Fire crews responded to the incident. Fire officials were called in to seize the cache of fireworks.
The driver was arrested and charged with fireworks possession, according to ABC7.
