Local teens launch PSAs to end school violence

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Students from Point Loma and San Diego High schools launched a campaign of PSAs raising awareness about school safety. The campaign is called “If You See Something, Say Something.”

The students teamed up with San Diego Unified Police and Crime Stoppers San Diego to produce the 30-second PSAs.

The PSAs will run in English and Spanish on tv and online throughout the month of June on Cox Communications. Cox donated $20,000 in airtime to make the spots possible.

Parents, students, and staff are encouraged to download the app called “P3 Tips” to report any suspicious activity immediately. The tips can be anonymous.
