ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) — Homicide detectives were investigating after a woman was shot and killed in a quiet Alpine neighborhood on Saturday.
Around 2 p.m., a resident heard a scream and called 911.
San Diego Sheriff's deputies found a woman's body lying halfway out of the passenger seat of a car in front of a neighbor’s driveway in the 3000 block of North Victoria Drive.
Deputies detained a man on foot about a half mile away with two hand guns, said Lt. Rich Williams, San Diego County Sheriff's Homicide Unit.
"The suspect in this case has been identified as forty-two-year-old Paul Paraschak of Alpine," said Williams.
Paraschak has been arrested for one count of murder and booked into the San Diego Central Jail, where he is being held without bail.
