SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Emergency crews rescued a woman after the car she was in crashed and rolled over at an Interstate 15 off-ramp in Scripps Ranch.
The crash happened at around 2:30 a.m. on the northbound I-15 off-ramp to Carroll Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
10News learned a Caltrans worker was near the crash scene and saw a woman unconscious and trapped inside the BMW.
Responding firefighters were able to remove the woman from the wreckage and took her to the hospital.
The woman’s condition was not immediately available.
The CHP is investigating an initial report that the woman struck the back of a semi-truck before she crashed.
