SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A woman was taken to the hospital after she was struck by a pickup truck on a Barrio Logan street Thursday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Harbor Drive, near Sigsbee Street, according to San Diego police.
The truck’s driver reportedly told police that the collision happened when the woman ran into the roadway for unknown reasons.
Life-saving measures were performed, and after paramedics were able to regain a pulse, she was rushed to the hospital.
The woman’s condition was unknown as of 7 a.m.
Police shut down a stretch of Harbor Drive near Sigsbee Street due to the emergency response.
