SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are looking for the vehicle that struck a fire hydrant in downtown San Diego early Monday morning and left behind a geyser that caused a wet mess.

The collision between hydrant and vehicle happened on Eighth Avenue and A Street at around 12:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.

The impact of the crash led to a geyser that flooded a portion of the street and sent the yellow fire hydrant rolling down the roadway.
