SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Police are searching for whoever is responsible for intentionally starting a fire in a dormitory at UC San Diego.
School officials said campus police were called to the fourth floor of the Argo Hall building at around 12 p.m. on Sunday after reports of a fire in a lounge room.
The building’s sprinkler system and a school maintenance worker helped put out the fire before officers arrived.
No injuries were reported.
According to school officials, the fire was determined to be arson, but no information on a possible suspect was immediately available.
