SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Strong winds knocked down trees around San Diego County Saturday as a powerful storm moved through the region.
In Balboa Park, six cars were damaged when a large eucalyptus tree fell in the San Diego Zoo parking lot.
No one was hurt during the collapse.
A woman who parked across from the tree told 10News reporter Laura Acevedo she was shocked, and said luck was on her side today.

Debris from other trees was blown down by the wind and scattered across 6th Avenue west of the park, according to a post on the 10News Weather Watchers Facebook page.
In La Jolla, a palm tree fell onto a car on La Jolla Boulevard just south of Front Street at 11 a.m.
The couple who owned the car had just parked and walked inside a coffee shop.
“Maybe 10 minutes later a guy ran in and said a palm tree fell and hit a car,” said Joanne Chen.
