The unnamed student said the teacher thought she and her friends were about to fight in a campus bathroom. She told 10News the teacher tried blocking the door so the students could not leave the bathroom.

"My friends tried pulling the door and that's when she [the teacher] pushed my friend and she hit her head on the wall," the student said.

The student told 10News Wednesday, the school suspended her.

Sweetwater Union High School District officials say they can't confirm the suspension but they did confirm the teacher, who is not being identified, is still placed on leave.
