SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police arrested Tuesday a man wanted on a warrant in Arizona after a short standoff in Golden Hill.

Officers said someone called in an anonymous tip to report the 25-year-old man, wanted for a stabbing, was at the home at 3363 A St.

When police went to the home, the man opened the door but shut it when he saw officers.

Police called a SWAT team to the scene, and the San Diego Unified School District put nearby Golden Hill K-8 school on lockdown.

The man surrendered after about one hour and the lockdown was lifted.

Officers said a total of eight people were in the home at the time of the standoff.
