SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A house in the Otay Mesa West area caught fire twice in one day, but no injuries were reported in either incident.
On Wednesday afternoon, San Diego Fire-Rescue crews put out a small fire that scorched a house in the 700 block of Narwhal Street.
Hours later, at around 9:30 p.m., firefighters were called to the same home in response to a fire that damaged the roof and at least one second-floor room.
Crews were able to douse the flames within 30 minutes.
It is unclear what caused both fires.
10News learned the homeowners were not home at the time of the fires.
