SAN DIEGO (CNS) — The San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality lifted a water contact closure Sunday for the ocean shoreline at Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge and Border Field State Park, after ocean water samples met state health standards.
The closure issued Friday included all beaches from the International Border to the south end of Seacoast Drive.
Water contact closure signs were scheduled to be removed Sunday, officials said.
