Arrest made in Chula Vista homicide

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police arrested a man suspected in the death of a person after a fight erupted at a party in Chula Vista.

According to Chula Vista police, 20-year-old Raymundo Ochoa-Juarez was arrested on suspicion of killing 20-year-old Deandre Bethel after a brawl in the 400 block of East Oxford on the evening of Oct. 30.

Ochoa-Juarez was arrested with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals' San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Police did not immediately release details on the case, including the victim's cause of death.

A second victim, a 21-year-old, is currently undergoing treatment and is expected to survive, police say.
