SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – An Uber driver on his way to a pick-up was shot at while driving past the convention center in downtown San Diego.

At around 11 p.m. Tuesday, San Diego Harbor Police said the driver was traveling on Harbor Drive in front of the convention center when someone opened fire, hitting his windshield with BBs or pellets.

The shooting left cracks on the car’s windshield, but the driver was not hurt.

The driver continued to his pick-up, and after the ride was concluded, he returned to the scene and called Harbor Police.

The driver told police that he saw 2 or 3 men wearing dark clothing fire the shots at his car.

Tuesday’s shooting comes almost two weeks after a taxi driver on his way to an airport pick-up was attacked by someone firing a BB or pellet gun.
