SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Schools in several San Diego County districts will not have classes on Friday due to the impact of a strong storm the day before.

The San Diego County Office of Education said schools in the following districts will be closed on Feb. 15:

-- Bonsall Unified School District
-- Fallbrook Union Elementary School District
-- Fallbrook Union High School District
-- Julian Union High School District
-- Julian Union School District
-- Mountain Empire Unified School District
-- Vallecitos School District

COE officials said the closures were put into effect after Thursday’s intense storm led to area power outages, flooding, road closures and dangerous travel conditions.

Meanwhile, Monte Vista High School is closed on Friday due to a water main break on the campus.
