(KGTV) - Multiple schools in far northeast San Diego County are closed Wednesday due to snowfall in the area.
According to the San Diego County Office of Education, a “snow day” has led to the closure of all schools in the Julian Union School District, Julian Union High School District, Spencer Valley School District and Warner Unified School District.
COE officials said Mountain Empire School District schools will be open on Wednesday but start an hour later than their normal time.
While conditions have dried out for most of San Diego, the wet weather has led to snow for much of the county’s mountain areas.
Some schools are closed due to the weather, but Cuyamaca Outdoor School -- home to the original @SixthGradeCamp -- is open and more fun than ever! #SanDiegoSnowDay pic.twitter.com/qU4QhzvoEU
