SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an alley in Barrio Logan early Thursday morning.
At around 4 a.m., San Diego police responded to a 911 call regarding the discovery of a man down in an alley off the 2700 block of Newton Avenue, near 28th street.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the man was declared dead at the scene.
Police said the man had blunt force trauma on his body, but no other details were immediately released.
10News learned police are looking to view any surveillance footage captured by nearby businesses as part of the investigation.
