SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man whose body was found in a San Ysidro motel room.
Just before 12 p.m. on Wednesday, San Diego police officers were called to a motel in the 100 block of East Calle Primera after a report of a possibly deceased man in a room.
Police said the man had “trauma to the upper body” and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Circumstances that led to the man’s death are being investigated by the SDPD Homicide Unit. Investigators believe the incident did not appear to be a random attack.
According to police, investigators are interviewing the victim’s friends and family to determine who he may have been with.
The deceased man was identified as a 22-year-old Hispanic man.
