San Diego police: Armed woman robs Old Town gas station store

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a woman suspected of robbing a gas station convenience store in Old Town at gunpoint late Thursday night.

Just after 11 p.m., San Diego police were called to the ARCO ampm in the 3800 Old Town Avenue in response to an armed robbery.

Police said a woman wearing a hoodie and dark clothing entered the store while armed with a shotgun and demanded money from an employee.

According to police, the woman got away with an unknown amount of cash.

Police said she was last seen fleeing northbound on Moore Street.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

A detailed description of the suspected robber was not immediately available.
