SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A trolley struck and killed a pedestrian today in Barrio Logan, authorities reported.
The light-rail tram hit the victim at Main and Sigsbee streets shortly before 1:30 a.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
The pedestrian died at the scene, SDPD Officer Sarah Foster said.
The rail fatality forced closures of traffic lanes in the immediate area, according to police.
