San Diego Police investigate shots fired in Gaslamp Quarter

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Gunshots were fired in the Gaslamp Quarter early Sunday, but there were no reports of injuries, police said.

Between five and nine gunshots rang out around 2:30 a.m. at 7th Avenue and F Street, said San Diego Police Department Watch Commander Dino Delimitros.

Officers found a shell casing in a nearby parking lot, he said.

An investigation was ongoing.
