SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A man accused of killing a four-year-old's father at her birthday party back in 1987 will face justice after 32 years on the run.

Jose Angel Solorio appeared in a downtown courtroom Monday after being located in Mexico by the FBI, U.S. Marshals, and Mexican Law Enforcement.

Prosecutors say on June 7, 1987, Solorio got into an argument about paying for beer with other adults at the party.

He left for a short time and returned with a gun, fatally shooting two people and injuring two others.

"There's a lot of witnesses, obviously this was a party full of people that he walked into and literally shot people at point blank range," said Deputy District Attorney Brian Erickson.

Solorio pleaded not guilty to the four counts. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.
