SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego fire engineer was arrested Monday on suspicion of sex with a minor, according to San Diego Police.

Justin Price, 35, is suspected of sex with a minor 3 or more years younger, sex with a foreign object, and oral copulation with someone under 18, police said.

There were no more details released about the alleged crime.

Price is an engineer and paramedic with San Diego Fire-Rescue, a department spokesperson confirmed. He has worked for the department for ten years.

As Fire Chief of the City of San Diego, I strongly condemn the alleged behavior and will not tolerate any actions that compromise the high standards required of all Fire Department employees. These men and women will continue to uphold the paramount principles of safety and security for all San Diegans, and will do so with the integrity expected of all City of San Diego employees.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Chief Colin Stowell

SDFD confirmed Price will be on special assignment without pay during the criminal investigation. He will not have professional interaction with the public.
