SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The cold temperatures and freezing conditions in San Diego County's mountain region has forced schools in the area to adjust their schedules for Thursday.

The County Office of Education said classes would resume as normal just 24 hours after some districts shut down for the day due to inclement weather, including snow.

On Thursday, Feb. 7, schools are starting later than usual:

-- Julian Union Elementary School District: 9:20 a.m.
-- Julian Union High School District: 9:10 a.m.
-- Spencer Valley School District: 9 a.m.

Schools in the Mountain Empire and Warner Unified districts will begin classes at their normal time. Schools in both of those districts were closed on Wednesday.
