SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Some San Diego city council members and employees present at a city council meeting this week were informed Wednesday that an employee at the meeting has tested positive for coronavirus.

The positive patient attended Tuesday's meeting and a request was made of affected individuals to schedule a COVID-19 test and self-quarantine for the next two weeks, according to a spokesman for Mayor Kevin Faulconer.

Anyone entering a city facility is subject to temperature checks and must adhere to social distancing protocols and employees must wear face masks.

Council members Chris Cate, Monica Montgomery, Vivian Moreno and Scott Sherman were present for the meeting. Faulconer was not at the Tuesday meeting.
