Report: Average California tuition costs nearly $17K per year

(KGTV) -- A new report found that it costs the average Californian nearly $17,000 per year in tuition alone to attend college in the Golden State.

According to the report by move.org, in-state tuition in California costs an average of $14,832.

If you’re moving to the Golden State from elsewhere, it’ll set you back even more at around $18,926, according to the site.

That’s a net cost of $16,829.

Although California college may seem costly, it’s nothing compared to other states.

To get the average tuition, the report compared in-state and out-of-state tuition as well as the net cost to attend college in each state.
