After leaving the store, police say the suspects ran to a getaway car on North 2nd Avenue.

Police are looking into whether or not this incident is linked to a string of jewelry store robberies in late 2018 and early 2017.

Between December of 2018 and February of 2019, at least three other jewelry stores throughout San Diego County were robbed in a similary manner.
