CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Extra police presence was on hand at Chula Vista High School on Monday morning after several reported threats on social media.

Several parents notified the school after some students received messages over the weekend from an anonymous social media account that warned them not to go to school on Monday.

The Chula Vista Police Department has not commented on the credibility of the threat, but department officials said extra patrols would be added around the Chula Vista High campus.
