SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A person was struck and killed by a vehicle along state Route 94 in the Webster area of San Diego.
Shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday, California Highway Patrol officials received reports of a pedestrian down on the eastbound side of SR-94, just past the Euclid Avenue exit.
Details on what led to the collision were not immediately released, but CHP reported that multiple drivers pulled over and tried to administer life-saving measures.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The emergency response forced the closure of two lanes on eastbound SR-94.
