SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two outages left just over 4,200 San Diego Gas & Electric customers without power Tuesday morning in the Rolando, City Heights and Oak Park areas.
The first outage, affecting 4,159 customers, was reported at 2:52 a.m., according to San Diego Gas and Electric's online outage map. The second outage, affecting 48 customers, was reported at 3:43 a.m.
As of 7:15 a.m., power had been restored to all customers affected by the first outage, but the customers affected by the second outage remained without power, SDG&E spokeswoman Helen Gao said, adding that power was expected to be restored to the remaining customers by 9 a.m.
Crews determined the first outage was caused by a tree that fell on power lines, Gao said. The cause of the second outage was still under investigation.
