CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- The City of Chula Vista Monday removed several mysterious orange bicycles spotted around the city.
The city says the bikes violate several city codes and, due to the code violations, were collected Monday afternoon.
Chula Vista Residents took to social media after the mysterious orange bikes began popping up all over town over the weekend.
The bright orange bikes are part of a marketing campaign for Orangetheory Fitness, a gym making its way to the Otay Ranch Town Center.
At this time, the City of Chula Vista says it hasn't fined Orangetheory Fitness for the code violations.
