SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- You can add San Diego to the list of places where a mysterious metal monolith has popped up.
The mysterious object was spotted earlier this week at the Scripps Ranch Marketplace shopping center on Scripps Poway Parkway.
As word of the monolith spread on social media, many people gathered around the object to take photos.
There is no word on how the monolith got to the shopping center, but it has since been removed as of Wednesday morning.
ABC 10News learned a social media video shows a group of teens removing the monolith and carrying it away.
